I came across this quote a while ago while reading a book and it has forever stuck with me – “Go Forth and Tell No One.” But what does it really mean? I can tell you it was probably the best thing I could have found at that point in my life and possibly the best “advice” I have ever seen.

In a nutshell, the quote is referring to the dreams or desires that are borne within your heart. We all have them. Some of us act on those dreams and some of don’t but what the quote is encouraging us to do, is pursue those dreams without explanation.

Once you starting answering the call, you will realise a lot of people in your life won’t understand. People will tell you that you are wrong, crazy, and even foolish. Some will even tell you that you can’t reach those dreams and you will eventually come to the realisation it’s because they are afraid of following their own path.

So why tell no one?

It’s important to note that your dreams are YOURS. They are unique to you and only meant for you to understand. While it is good to share your aspirations with those that are close to you, don’t be disappointed when they don’t understand the force that is driving you and you know what?. it’s ok. It’s ok if no one understands. Life has a funny way of bringing like-minded people into your experience. I’ve lived it and I’m sure you have too.

So my words of encouragement for you today is to go forth and tell no one, live without apologies and stay the m*****f***ing course.
